The CC1708 & 1708/B is a compact collator which allows up to 6 packs of processed continuous stationery to be brought together and collated into a multi part set. The parts are held together with crimps which are positioned in the margins of the web at 2" or 4" intervals. With the addition of DUPLEX equipment a two wide configuration of stationery can be collated and slit in a single pass of the machine. Both models have a chute folder system, and varying form depths are catered for simply by changing an easily accessible folder gear. The 1708/B variant is manufactured and assembled with an impression cylinder and cut-outs in the side frames to facilitate a rotary numbering or letterpress type imprinting unit as an optional extra.
