The CP2140 has been designed to give maximum production with the minimum of fuss with production speeds of up to 33,000 forms an hour.
Problems normally associated with paper processing like varying throw length, inconsistent registration and gearing (giving a washboard effect to the pack) are problems of the past when packs are produced on the CP2140.

Reel Shaft
Channel set coil springs that tighten onto the reel core.

Reel Lifting Mechanism
A pneumatically operated ram and cylinder with a pedal operated lock.

Tension Control
A dancing arm electronically linked to the braking system.

Web Alignment
Dual photo-electric cell arrangement.

Sprocket Punch
Two single lines of punch and die rings, adjustable to any web width within the range 4" to 20.5".

Cross Perforators
Three perforating cylinders to customer's specification within the range of 8" to 17" (in increments of 1/6"). Each cylinder is supplied with a single slot. A changing table is provided to enable one man speedy changeover of cylinders. Form length is varied by changing the perforation cylinder. No additional gear change is required. Multiple perforations per form may be effected by using either multiple slot cylinders (and blades) or by fixing 'T' form perforating strips to the cylinder.

Line Perforator and Slitter
Three Rotaprint adjustable wheel holders with fine control together with two perforating wheels and one slitting wheel.

Register Control
Control of registration between punching and perforating is effected by an adjustable twin bar compensator mechanism.

Folder
The folder mechanism comprises four spirals, six beaters and a waver. The distance between the spirals is adjusted by a handwheel. Folded forms are delivered to a moving belt delivery table in which both height and belt movement are adjustable.

Pen Marker
A pen marker for marking batch sizes and an electronic form counter are provided.

Other Controls and Instruments
RUN and STOP controls
Variable speed control
Inching control with guard override
Tension control indicator
Batch counter/Totaliser
Manual batch mark
Counter control switch

Power Unit
The Rotaprint Compact Processor is driven by a 1.1kw, electronically controlled AC motor.
